For her first occasion working with the monotype medium, Katherine Bradford has created three series of unique prints: Holding Hands, Diver Feet First, and Dock Diver. Bradford is singularly well-suited to making monotypes, as a painter with an intuitive sense of color, bold mark-making, and allusive imagery that transfer from plate to paper with depth and intensity. These series show her spontaneous thinking and making in service to her constant themes of intimacy, water, and risk-taking.
