The painting blends reality and absurdity. An old house stands against a dark sky, while a cow grazes on the green grass. A heron walks away from the past, symbolizing departure. Yet, a surprising detail captures our attention: a rope with clothes stretched over a rocket lodged in the ground. Nature seems unable to endure this chaos, showing how worrying about the past doesn't fix the present, but spoils the future.
A military jet disrupts the calm, emphasizing how fear only distorts the future. Minimalist colors — browns, greens, and grays — create a calm but tense atmosphere, urging us to reflect: what truly matters here? The cow grazing by the rocket, the heron leaving the past, or perhaps our own role in shaping the future?
Dutch acrylic paints Amsterdam and Italian fine-grained cotton canvas tm Unico were used in the work. Finish - satin varnish.
