An illustration for the book "The King's Indian", a collection of short stories by author John Gardner published in 1973. Carter identifies two images, not illustrated, of the same specifications under the title "A Tale", one called No. 1, the other No. 2. Fink did not title the impressions; as such, it isn't clear which "A Tale" imge this particular impression is.
