Les monstres bienfaisants de la nuit invitent les folies du jour au grand bal des couleurs et des formes.

 Ici, tout est ivresse de vivre. Le monde est une fête. Tout est possible.

Jour et nuit est peut-être la plus belle célébration de ma jeunesse de peintre. 

Et la certitude que quoi qu'il advienne j'allais poursuivre.

The beneficial monsters of the night invite the happy follies of the day to the great parade of colours and shapes.

 Here, everything tells of the exhilaration of life. The world is a party. Anyrthing can happen.

Day and Night is perhaps the most glorious celebration of my youth as a painter. And the certainty that, come what may, I was going to carry on.
