I offer a striking oil painting of Nelson Mandela by Irish artist Mark McFadden. 

Mark is a recently newcomer to the art world and his works are usually large oil paintings on canvas using a palette knife. His portraits of celebrities such as George a Bernard Shaw, Oscar Wilde or Nelso Mandela obviously remind us of pointillism but with a definitive contemporary touch. 

His portrait of Madiba was created in 2014 after reading an biography of this most famous political legend. In this painting, he successfully managed to render the visionary and determined side of Mandela, at the age when he led South Africa to reunification.

In addition to being signed by the artist at the back, it is also signed by His Highness, Albert de Monaco, who has collected artworks by this artist.
