This original etching and aquatint is hand signed in pencil by the artist "David Hockney" and hand numbered in pencil from the edition of 200, at the lower right margin.
There were also 35 artist’s proofs hand signed and numbered with Roman numerals.
This composition is the 5th from the series for the Blue Guitar.
This work was printed by Maurice Payne of the Petersburg Press, London and was published by Petersburg Press, London in 1977.
The title is stamped in ink at the centre of the lower margin, verso.
