Radoslav ROCHALLYI - Fidelity

Fidelity can be understood as a reference to loyalty - to one's own truth, values, but also to questions that force us to question our own certainties.  The transcendent color palette - from golds symbolizing hope and light, to pinks and blues evoking human emotion, to earthy greys evoking uncertainty - opens a dialogue between the subjective and the objective.

An equation from financial mathematics is engraved in the background of the painting, symbolizing the effort to find order and structure in an increasingly chaotic world. This mathematical notation represents not only a rational approach to reality, but also a desire for a universal truth that is increasingly relativized.

The painting is currently on display at a solo exhibition in the Liechtenstein House in the Czech Republic. The exhibition will last until February 2, 2025.
