Nice large work on paper of a winter landscape by Wan Soon Kam (Singapore, 1943). Date of creation will be approximately in the 1980’s.

Born in 1943, Second-generation Singapore artist, Wan Soon Kam, is a prolific painter who has been in the practice for over 50 years. Regarded as one of Singapore’s leading artists, Wan Soon Kam is renowned for his paintings of landscapes and street scenes. Having graduated from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 1961, Kam worked as a graphic artist and illustrator before transitioning to become a full-time artist in 1976. It was during his time as an illustrator when the artist began to experiment with mixed media paintings.
