Here is a beautiful cat by the stencil artist C215. A nod to the rats of Banksy, Blek le Rat, and Jef Aérosol, the cat motif appeared early in the work of the French artist. Claiming to be a 'popular painter' like Bernard Buffet, Christian Guémy, also known as C215, enjoys representing this universally beloved subject, which resonates with people for sentimental reasons. This work is now over ten years old, in excellent condition, and of outstanding technical quality. It is particularly striking with its autumnal color palette of reds and oranges. A custom floater frame would easily enhance it.
