This creation is part of my latest series MOVEMENT. 

This series highlights the Alpine relief that cradles the Lake Geneva region. Set between the French Haute-Savoie and Switzerland, these canvases are an ode to the present moment and contemplative meditation.

As far as my artistic approach is concerned, I like to think that Human and Nature are interconnected. The soul and the psyche can appear sinuous, opaque and violent in the face of a pragmatic, down-to-earth human body, as can the changing, impetuous natural elements that cradle the majestic, immobile peaks. It is this contrast that I work on my canvases, a duality that vibrates throughout our Universe and that I love to explore.

In terms of technique, my work on this series revolves around colour (acrylic paint applied with a brush) and texture (a mixture in relief worked with knives). The style is minimalist, seeking depth and intensity, and contemporary.
