Abderrahmane OUARDANE, Contemporary Artist born in 1947, Casablanca. Studied fine arts at Beaux-Arts Workshops in Paris (1970). Ouardane has exhibited regularly since 1980. Lives and works in Morocco. Generational colleague of the Trans-Mediterranean Modernists from the “Casablanca School”.

Predominant themes: the "woman-muse" and vernacular signs. OUARDANE devoted his first exhibitions to the theme of nude's. His art draws its source from vernacular heritage in a context of mutations, oscillating between history and contemporaneity with pictorial and aesthetic transcribing imaginations drawn from intangible heritage of Orient, Occident and Africa. 

Certified authentic works. The canvas is mounted on a keyed frame (professional French manufacture). The works was realized by the artist in 2020 in Côte d’Azur, South of FRANCE.
