Oil painting on verso of a glass basis signed on bottom right « V. Soukup » & dated « 91 ». Provenance German auction 9-2024. Probably one of his first ones, regarding the relatively academic subject but dealt originally on a glass basis, showing an obvious talent. This youth work reminds of the touch of Vincent Van Gogh and of his known subjects of Plowmen and Landscapes with some of them. A teal youth masterpiece.
