David Lamelas was revealed at the 9th Soa Paulo Biennal in 1967 as an argentinian conceptual artist. One year later he represents Argentina at the Biennale di Venezia, despite political dissent with his country and is studying in London. He continues his activities as artist and film maker and is exhibited at the Dokumenta 5, next to Beuys, Art and Language, Broodthaers, Darboven, Filliou and many other artists of the conceptual mouvement. Today his work continues to interrocate the relationship between material and immaterial, fiction and reality through original installations.
This work consists in two lithographs, each mesuring 39 x 59 cm, on image "Buenos Aires 1964" numbered, signed and dated.
