Carlo VANCHIERI - Vacanze

This painting has been made during 1993 summer break. I took a foulard as a model in order to paint the work: it used to happen often during my pictorial phase of those years. The movement spreads through a horizontal force, trying to reproduce the same foulard thrice, developing in three different color shades as well, kind of made of immediate brushstrokes.

P.s. Size has to be intended including the frame, that's basically made of natural shaped wood. The size of the inner wooden holder itself is: height cm. 90 x width cm. 80 x depth cm. 2 . The work has been also exposed to many different exhibitions, both solo and group ones and it has been featured in different art catalogues as well (feel free to ask me for them).
