Antonio Scaccabarozzi 1936 – 2008.
In 1951 he began working as a photolithography apprentice in Milan and in 1954 he enrolled in evening painting courses at the Scuola Superiore d'Arte Applicata of the Castello Sforzesco.
During those years of stay in Milan he frequented the Brera district where he met artists such as Carlo Carrà, Piero Manzoni and Lucio Fontana.

In 1959 he moved to Paris together with his friend and fellow student Anchise Roncato, where the two worked as stage painters.
He deepens their knowledge of the artistic languages of the time and of the historical avant-gardes which influenced the works of those years, with particular reference to Hans Arp and Fernand Léger.
In 1965 his first personal exhibition was set up at the Elio Agresti cultural center in Milan.
