"Le Jour se lève - les émotions du Cinéma" symbolizes the cinema of yesterday and today. The painting depicts a young woman who has just seen a film. She has just come out of the cinema with a multitude of images and feelings in her head, replaying certain scenes that particularly touched her, and she can't wait to watch a film again, to be immersed in that very special cinema atmosphere.
The theme is represented by a multitude of elements: the cinema of yesterday and the past can be found in the hair and on the jacket, with images of the big names and film posters, and the present and future is at the back of the character.
The resin used is fluorescent in places, giving a luminosity all of its own. The orange background corresponds to action cinema (with fragmenting cameras), the blue to space and the stars, and the green to fiction, the unclassifiable of the modern era.
