Purpose

The painting represents husband as the head of the wife.The  purpose of relating this painting to equality in marriage is that equality may brings a man and woman together as one. Just like has God put a man to be the head of the woman as husband in marriage. When partners in a marriage value equality, they see each other as equals, treat each other with respect, consider each other’s needs, and support one another. Equal partners agree on goals together and work as a team for the purpose of achieving the same goals in marriage.
