Kaido Ole can be classified as a conceptual artist. He graduated from Estonian Academy of Arts in 1992 and worked as a painting instructor at the Tallinn Art School 1992-1993. From 2003 to 2010, he taught painting at Estonian Academy of Arts. Since 2010 he is a freelance painter.
In 2003 Kaido Ole represented Estonia at 50th Venice Biennale in the Estonian pavilion.

The painting  is made of planks from Kaido Ole's own house when it was demolished. The wrecking ball is depicted in the work.
