Fritz Fischer (August 4, 1925, Vienna - October 4, 1986, Vienna)

Limited edition (36/100) abstract composition in shades of brown, green and blue, signed and dated by the artist lower right.  F. Fischer 1963.

Fritz Fischer was a multidisciplinary Austrian artist active as a painter, print maker, mosaic maker and muralist creating large format works of art in public spaces.
After studies at Vienna's Akademie der bildenden Künste, he taught at the Hochschule für Angewandte Kunst, before becoming an independent artist.  He executed a number of commissions from the city of Vienna for large format mural mosaics.
