The artistic and esthetic research led by Giovanni Trimani (Rome, 1970) always focuses on signs and men, both in painting and sculpture, which is highly elaborated by him and offered through the most universal and popular approach, while also using a scrupulous analysis of his life as the starting point.

Classic techniques such as oil painting, watercolors, crayons and tempera characterised the earlier period of Trimani’s artistic path, during which he got in touch with and learnt the doctrine of great past artists, whose traces are visible in his works.

The landing towards a mature style is now clearly visible in the significant and complex project named AssediA, perceived by the artist as most of his artistic production. As a matter of fact, Trimani’s most represented subject in the last years has been the chair, which in this case does not symbolize still life, but instead is meant to be the point of view when researching the depth of the mankind.
