Signed later as John Singer Sargent, a charcoal portrait of Keith McLeod (American artist), very rare museum quality drawing.  Alphonse Legros was known for teaching his students to draw from memory, he was able to draw a portrait in less than one hour and in great detail of someone he had known for many years before, and replicate as they looked with remarkable skill.  Slade Professor at UCL, works held in museums throughout the world.
