IRENE HALLIDAY (1931-2023)

20th century Scottish painter in watercolours, oils and gouache. Born in Kingsmuir, Angus, she trained at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee under Alberto Morrocco. Her work has been exhibited at the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour (RSW), the Royal Academy London, Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts and in many solo exhibitions in the north of England, Scotland, and America. Public galleries in Bolton, Dundee, Salford and elsewhere hold examples of her work.
