Dans cette œuvre, Jean Dubuffet travaille sur deux « chantiers » ; l’un évoquant le site (le fond) et l’autre le personnage découpé et collé (pièce rapportée). Ces dessins vont se succéder pendant six moi et seront utilisés pour l’exécution de toiles peintes.
In this work, Jean Dubuffet works on two “sites”; one evoking the site (the background) and the other the cut and pasted character (attached part). These drawings will follow one another for six months and will be used for the execution of painted canvases.
