This original etching is hand signed in pencil by the artist “Henri Matisse” in the lower right margin.
It is also hand numbered in pencil from the edition of 25, above the signature.
There were also three épreuves d’essai [working proofs] and a further three impressions after the plate was scored.

Condition: Good condition. The lower sheet with a heavy horizontal fold. Two areas of mineral staining from previous framing in the left sheet edge.
