Wang Yidong, born in 1955, is from Shandong. In 1972, he entered the Shandong Provincial Art School and taught in the Art Department of Shandong Art School. In 1978, he was admitted to the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and stayed on as a teacher after graduation. He is a member of the China Artists Association .
