Ma Lu, an artist hailing from Beijing, China, was born in 1958. He belongs to the Hui nationality. In 1982, he completed his studies at the Oil Painting Department of the prestigious Central Academy of Fine Arts. Currently, Ma Lu holds the positions of deputy director and professor at the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Additionally, he serves as the vice president of the Chinese Oil Painting Society.
