Harry Buyck was a Belgian artist who was born in Antwerp in 1928 and died in Merksem in 2017. He was a painter and draftsman. Largely self-taught, but did follow lessons at the Academy in Ghent under W. Sybrands. Finds his inspiration in his fellow man, whom he catches at home, on the beach or in the cafe and also paints landscapes, beach scenes, nudes, mother-and-child compositions. Expressionist design
