Dolia Lorian (1909 - 1952), was born in Odessa, Russia on 1902 but she lived and worked in New York. She is noted for abstract modern urban landscapes. Her works are in the collections of Yale University, the Georgia Museum of Art, the Newark Museum, and the Whitney Museum of Art.Signed bottom right "Lorian". Signature on back of frame: "Small world - CF 149 - Tape sides".
