Li Rongzhou, was born in Feng County , Jiangsu Province in January 1940 . Professor of Nanjing University of the Arts, member of China Artists Association . In 1963, he graduated from the Department of Fine Arts of Nanjing University of the Arts, majoring in oil painting. He began to teach at Nanjing University of the Arts in 1979, and served as the director of the Department of Oil Painting of the Department of Fine Arts for a long time. Art works have participated in important exhibitions at home and abroad for many times, and many have won awards. He participated respectively at National art exhibition, where he won the second prize of the National New Year Painting Award, and was designated as the "Excellent Work" of the 6th National Art Exhibition. Many series of works were published in various newspapers and albums. In 1996, he held a personal oil painting sketch Liejun sketching exhibition, exhibiting 180 sketches, which were widely praised.
