I started painting Scottish East coast on Gullane beach in Scotland whilst the sun was setting in late autumn, early winter 2021. You can see a lot of my process on social media, including the places I go to, my inspiration and the thoughts I have.

I completed this painting back home by building up layers of acrylic. The process also involved removing paint. I painted with brushes and palette knifes. The palette knives help to give the painting a really textured look. The painting is painted on a canvas panel.
