Oil on plywood panel representing a nude woman, from the back, hair undone, sitting on a stool in front of a mirror whose reflection does not reflect the face of the model. Great sensuality and beauty of the left arm falling carelessly. Signed lower left RESTELLINI, 1931. Gian Piero RESTELLINI, Italian school, born in Monza in 1895, died in Como in 1968. Post impressionist, he was influenced by the French masters in Rome and was exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 1948 (Bénézit, T 7, p.701) Beautiful period frame
