Smooth surfaced, black granite has been engineered into a vertical figure eight shape by sculptor Jeremy Guy. Poised on a flat, brushed aluminum base, the 25 inch tall sculpture tapers slightly at the top. It is number 9 in a series of 50.

Jeremy Guy was born in a small town in West Yorkshire, England. Natural inspiration has come from the work of British modern sculptors Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth. He has lived in Canada since 2007. Educated in Fine Art and holding an honours degree in Product Design, Jeremy has been a full-time sculptor for approximately 20 years. His works can be found in public spaces and private collections in many countries across three continents. The natural environment and especially time spent on, or near, water have had a significant influence on Guy's work.
