Vivi HERREBOUDT - October on the beach (Cat N° 7175)

Vivi Herreboudt is a painter of landscapes. But not so much the element "nature" is present, but the meditative dimension of nature. She has expressed the silence and the harmony in the simple lines of her beach landscapes. Few forms break through the few horizontal lines with which she shapes her vast world without sound.
The environment gets more shape in her "Garden Corners" series. We discover the places full of peace that are hidden in our daily living environment. Much more than in her beach works we see here the nature modeled by man. The tranquility is complemented by the element of conviviality. But in all her work her view remains infinite.
