The visual art movement known as pop art explores the relationship between artistic expression, celebrity culture and advertisement that flourished by the 1960s. Pop artists would take images and ideas that were a part of culture (such as advertisements and movie stars) and place it in a context. 

All of them have different styles and approaches,  their art has left a lasting impression. Amog those talented urban street and pop artists, John Snake is worth being mentioned.
John Snake was born in New York in 1957. After his studies and travellng around the world, a successful career as a commercial illustrator, he became a renowned artist.
John Snake is a pop artist, who created hundreds of environmental, social, pop works consisting of stenciiled words, symbols, dates and icons spray painted outdoor and on canvas.
In 2005 he started representing Disney icons, through collage, drawing, dripping painting on canvas.
