Original signed & numbered limited edition color lithograph by the Mexican Master DAVID ALFARO SIQUEIROS (1896-1974).
In very good condition. The lower left corner was repaired, by a professional restoration master. The repair is visible, as shown in the image. It is presently covered by framing and not visible, at all. The image area is perfect, and the pricing reflects the repair. Elsewhere, this print is $2,500 to $3,500.
A tribute to Ruben Salazar. He was a reporter and columnist for the Los Angeles Times killed during riots that erupted on the streets of L.A. during demonstrations at the National Chicano Moratorium March against the Vietnam War. A tear gas canister fired by a deputy sheriff into a bar struck Salazar as he sat with a cold beer enjoying a quiet moment away from the calamity he had been covering.
