This unframed artwork was brought to the U.S. from then Czechoslovakia some thirty years ago and has been in the possession of the same family ever since.  It is a very powerful and striking image.  The owner thought it was a self-portrait by the artist but this has not been verified since we have not seen any photos of the artist.
