Gustavo Bar Valenzuela was born in Santiago, Chile in 1974. He started his formal studies of Painting with Master Ricardo Ramírez, the founder of Arte Real International Painting School and graduated in Art History and Restoration from SEK International University of Chile. He combined his skills with influences from Flemish and Venetian school and Baroque technique to create a fresh and revisited realism, rooted in the updated traditions of the old masters. His recent paintings have a strong contemporary feel and picture modern life in a classical way.Gustavo Bar Valenzuela lives in Israel since 2005. His works have been exhibited at solo and collective exhibitions in Chile and Israel as well as in Italy and in the US.
