Comments: Designed many of the wood cuts prepared by Alexander Anderson. His name appears intermittently in NYC directories from 1811-38 and in Brooklyn directories from 1849-58. Hamilton lists examples of his work dating from 1817-72. Could be related to William Morgan (1826-1900, see entry).
