Comments: Married to painter Judith Dolnick in 1957, he owned the Wells Street Gallery for 2 years with a friend, giving young Chicago artists the opportunity to exhibit their works. Inspired by the color of Henri Matisse and Pierre Bonnard, and Paul Klee's Cubism, his works are colorful Expressionist abstractions. He created several series using columns, heart and doughnut shapes, grids and shifting planes as recurring themes. Teaching: Ford Found. artist-in-residence, Kalamazoo Inst. Arts.
